ReplyDeleteAs you've all are aware, I'm no longer affiliated with the BBDD. This is due to failings within the league to work together in a open and communicative way in the spirit of fairness and equality.
I have been unhappy with the direction the league has been heading for some time and disagreed with a lot of the decisions that were made in dealing with issues. The management has become very insular and autocratic in the way it deals with the members they are supposed to represent.
In this manner in the which it has come to light can only be put down to being sucker punched. If I would have been approached, given the opportunity to have discussed or in understanding that this type of action was being considered, we could have agreed to disagree and I would have left the league on my own accord.
I still have a lot of skate left in me and hope to see some of you on the track in the future.
